Frequent Asked Questions

What is the legal age to get married in CA?

In CA, you must be over 18 years old to get married.

Do you marry minors or couples under 18 years old?

No, we don’t. (Please call the County Clerk for more information)

What type of documents do you require for the civil wedding?

One valid government-issued photo I.D. from any country. (Passport,                   State ID or Driver License)         
If you or your fiancé were married before, we’ll also need the divorce certificate.

Do we have to purchase the Marriage License first at County Clerk?

Please, inquire about license when contacting us. 

How soon can I get the Marriage Certificate?

The County Clerk will mail your Marriage Certificate to you if you fill out the forms, or if you purchase your marriage license through us then you can pay for the certificate to be mailed to you in 4-5 weeks. If you choose to get it in person it takes around 4 weeks to pick up from the county

Do we need to bring witnesses?

No, you don’t need witnesses to be married in California.
In case you have already purchased your own public Marriage License at the County Clerk, you’ll have to bring 2 witnesses.

What about the blood test?

In CA, you don’t need the blood test to be married.

With how many weeks in advance should we book our wedding in your chapel?

In order to get the best date and time, you should book your wedding with 8 weeks in advance. But if your wedding date is within the next 8 weeks, please contact us for availability.

Do we have to pay the full amount when we make our wedding reservation?

No, depending on the package you choose you can reserve with 40% and pay the rest the day of the wedding.

How many people can your chapel holds?

Maximum capacity of our chapel is 70 people.

Can I bring my own wedding officiant?

Yes, you are allowed to bring your own pastor, minister, reverend, priest, etc. (at no extra charge). 

Do you host receptions?

No, we don’t. But we can refer you lot of nice places to have your wedding receptions. 

Can we change our wedding date or wedding time?

 Yes, give us a call, we can reschedule your wedding date or wedding time.

Can we cancel our wedding plan?

The deposit is non-refundable, but you have up to 6 months from the original wedding date to reschedule your wedding.
